Hema is the Founder and former CEO of Ampere Vehicles, an early mover that spearheaded India’s E-Vehicles revolution. Brand “Ampere” has carved a niche for itself as an innovative technology creator in the nascent Indian Electric Vehicle Industry, contributing to environmental sustainability. Ampere has been acquired and Hema has fully exited the venture.

A serial entrepreneur, Hema has spent the last 25 years creating and driving varied entrepreneurial ventures spanning Professional Services, Electronics, Training and Automobiles.

Hema strongly promotes Job Creation, focusses on Women empowerment. She also invests and mentors Innovative disruptive startups from smaller cities that solves societal problems.

Hema is the immediate past chair of TiE Women program, a global initiative of TiE that embrace, engage and empower Women. She was the Former President of TiE Coimbatore.

Hema is the president of Society for Smart E-Mobility (SSEM), Coimbatore.

Hema holds an MBA from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore.
