Shankar Jagannathan

A passionate student of Corporate Governance & Sustainability, with three decades plus of experience in Corporate, Start-up, Academics and Social Sector across organisations like Wipro, Azim Premji Foundation, Oxfam India, Indian Institute of Science, Dept Of Management Studies and CimplyFive. Author of two books Corporate Disclosures 1553-2007, The Origin of Business & Financial Reports published by Rutledge and The Wisdom of Ants, A Short History of Economics published by Westland. Prior to April 2023, was the Founder & Chief Executive of CimplyFive Corporate Secretarial Services, the pioneer and leader in Corporate Secretarial automation solution, offering BLISS a SaaS based software, which is now part of Cleartax after it was acquired by them in June 2022.

Currently on the boards of a few companies as a non-executive directors and consulting for select companies, Shankar is a Chartered Accountant and a law graduate.
