Dr. Rupinder Singh Sodhi

Dr. Rupinder Singh Sodhi is the Managing Director of Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation, Ltd. (AMUL), which is India’s largest food products organization with an annual turnover of more than INR 39,247 crores during 2020–21. Dr. Sodhi has 39 years of rich experience in leading and developing the cooperative sector within the Indian dairy industry, having served dairy farmers in several capacities. He has been responsible for creating the current structure of AMUL, enabling the organization to maintain and enhance its leadership status within the Indian dairy industry. Member unions of GCMMF are procuring 250 lakhs liters of milk per day from more than 18,600 Village Dairy Co-operative societies. During his tenure as Managing Director of Amul for the last 10 years, milk procurement price paid to farmers increased by 140% (INR 337 per kg fat to INR 810 per kg fat), milk procurement by 171% (90 lakhs liters per day to 250 lakhs liters per day) and turnover by 390%. He has successfully increased the income of farmers by almost 5 times in just 10 years. For more than three decades, Dr. Sodhi has worked under the direct guidance and mentorship of the Father of the White Revolution, Dr. Verghese Kurien, and has ensured that values cherished by Dr. Kurien such as integrity, dedication, courage, honesty, commitment to farmers and to consumers, remained deeply ingrained in the culture of AMUL.

Sanjiv Bhasin

Founder and Director, Radian Finserv Private Limited

Sanjiv Bhasin is a career banker, with over 40 years’ experience, gained through working in different geographies in Asia, Africa and Europe. He has been in leadership roles for over 20 years across various banks and financial services organizations, most recently having served as the CEO of AfrAsia Bank, based in Mauritius. As CEO of AfrAsia Bank, Sanjiv positioned the bank for sustainable growth in a challenging environment. After his stint at AfrAsia Bank, Sanjiv founded Radian Finserv in India, focused on retail asset backed loans (gold loans). Prior to AfrAsia, Sanjiv has undertaken different CEO roles including CEO, DBS Bank in India, CEO, Rabo Finance in India, CEO, HSBC Mauritius, among others. He has built a track record of building and scaling up operations and large scale business transformation, and is at home with driving change and leading from the forefront. In the latter part of his career, Sanjiv has built a good expertise and understanding of the Africa-Asia-India connect. He has led the adoption of technology and digital services, and is known for his people centric leadership and the ability to build high performing teams. Sanjiv is an alumnus of XLRI, Jamshedpur, where he completed his MBA, and a Commerce graduate from Sri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.

Rachna Aggarwal

Deepta has led and managed some of IRIS’ flagship products and key business lines over the past 30 years. She was part of a core team that drove IRIS’ business pivot from services to products 7 years ago, and is currently sponsoring the fastest growing business line in IRIS. Prior to IRIS, Deepta worked at American Express Bank and CRISIL. A graduate of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Deepta has been profiled in the bestseller, ‘Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish’, which chronicles the journey of 25 entrepreneurs from IIM Ahmedabad. Ashutosh Pandey

Managing Director and CEO, Mahindra First Choice Wheels

Ashutosh Pandey was previously the CEO of Tata CLiQ (Tata Unistore Limited), the digital commerce venture of the Tata Group, a business that he was responsible for founding and developing between October 2014 and May 2018. Ashutosh has more than two decades of experience in leadership roles across E-commerce and Retail, and functional roles in diverse industries. He joined the Tata Group in 1998 as a member of its flagship cadre, Tata Administrative Services (TAS). Over the next 16 years, Ashutosh took up challenging assignments in Tata Global Beverages (erstwhile Tata Tea), Rallis India, Tata Communications and the Taj Group of Hotels, in functions spanning marketing, strategy, business development, and project management. He also worked with Accenture Consulting for a year, where he was responsible for the post-merger integration of two large companies. Before taking up his assignment as CEO of Tata Unistore in 2014, he was the COO of Landmark E-Tail Limited, Trent’s online retail business, from 2013 to 2014. He was earlier the COO and Business Head of Landmark, one of India’s leading leisure and entertainment retailers, from 2009 to 2013. During this time, Ashutosh was responsible for the turnaround in the retail format besides building the brand, customer connect and store operations. Ashutosh is an MBA from FMS Delhi and holds a BE degree from BIT Sindri. He is based in Mumbai where he lives with his wife Aparna and two lovely daughters, Shriya and Shraddha.

Ajay Kaul

With a corporate career spanning 30 years, Ajay Kaul has worked at companies such as American Express, Lufthansa, TNT (India and Indonesia), including his stint as CEO of Jubilant FoodWorks for 12 years. Jubilant FoodWorks operates Domino’s Pizza and Dunkin’ Donuts in India, and under Ajay’s leadership, became India’s largest and fastest-growing food service company, while India became Domino’s largest market in the world (after the US). Ajay is currently working in an advisory capacity with various companies, which have interests in India and overseas. His primary role is that of a Senior Advisor with Everstone Capital Advisers. He also actively mentors a few startups in his personal capacity and through the Indian Angel Network. In addition, he also founded a charitable trust to undertake socially responsible work. Shanker Annaswamy

Shanker Annaswamy was the Managing Director of IBM India Private Limited and the Regional General Manager of IBM in India/South Asia (2004–2012). He served as the Senior Advisor, India Enterprise (January 2013 to September 2014). Before joining IBM, Shanker was the President and CEO for GE Medical Systems, South Asia and the MD of WiproGE Medical Systems. He is currently on the board of HealthCare Global Enterprises Limited (HCG), TransUnion CIBIL Limited (Formerly Credit Information Bureau India Limited) and IndusInd Bank Limited as an Independent Director.

He has held positions of eminence in key industry forums. Shanker was conferred the “Best CEO – Multinational Company” Award as part of Forbes India Leadership Awards 2011 for Transformational Leadership.

Shanker holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Madras University and a Diploma in Business Management from AIMA, New Delhi.

In his stint with Reliance Retail, he was at the forefront of one of the most ambitious retail ventures in India.
