M CHANDRASEKARAN (SHEKAR)

Board member, Sylvant Advisors, Ruban Bridge, and Add On Gyan; Advisor, VNIR Bio Tech

M Chandrasekaran is a member of the board of Sylvant Advisors, Ruban Bridge and Add On Gyan and advisor to VNIR Bio Technologies. Till recently, he was corporate advisor to the Manipal Education and Medical Group, co-Chairperson of the Innovation and Incubation Centre of Manipal University, and a member of the board of Stempeutics.
Earlier, he was Founder-Executive Chairman of the technology start up, Impulsesoft Pvt. Ltd., a provider of short range wireless solutions and was an advisor/member of the board of several fast-growing companies in India, including publicly listed companies such as 3i Infotech, Sasken and Aztec Software. He has also been an advisor to ChrysCapital and IDFC PE, two of the largest PE funds in India.
He has been one of the prime movers of the PGSM program for working IT professionals at IIM Bangalore. He writes regularly on corporate matters.
He has a degree in engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy, and a PGDBA from IIM Ahmedabad.
