With over 28 years of experience, Megha Tata brings expertise in the management of television networks operations in the Media and Entertainment industry.
She worked as part of the leadership team at Star and Turner. She had a consistent record of increasing sales, effective negotiations, profit and loss analysis and strategic implementation of business operations. Her performance with Star India and Turner bears testimony to her pursuit for excellence.
Megha’s strength and forte lies in her ability to overcome obstacles and capture opportunities by closing exclusive deals, create and implement savvy marketing strategies. Her efforts were validated when she was recognized as the ‘Next 30’ most powerful women to look out in 2010. She was also adjudged as one of India’s hottest young executives of the media industry in 2009 by Business Today and has been regularly adjudged amongst the top 50 influential women in media, marketing and advertising by IMPACT. She also received the Women Leadership Award by the World Women Leadership Congress in 2014. She was judged amongst India’s top 100 important people in the industry by Digital Studio a leading magazine in Broadcasting and Production. Megha was recognized with the “Women of the Decade in Media” Award by the Women Economic Forum — 2018. Has been featured as one of the Powerful Influencers of the M&E industry as per Adgully, a leading trade portal.
She served as the Vice President of the International Advertising Association (IAA) India Chapter from 2016 to 2018. Megha is currently in the MANCOM of IAA and volunteers for the Isha Foundation.
