CEO, NITI Aayog 

Amitabh Kant is presently CEO of National Institution for Transforming India (NITI). He is a member of the Indian Administrative Service, IAS (Kerala Cadre: 1980 batch). He is the author of Branding India-An Incredible Story. Kant has been a key driver of the “Make in India”, Startup India, “Incredible India” and God’s Own Country” initiatives that positioned India and Kerala State as leading manufacturing and tourism destinations. These campaigns have won several international awards and embraced a host of activities – infrastructure development, product enhancement, private-public partnership and positioning and branding based on extensive market research. Amitabh Kant was also the National Project Director of the Rural Tourism Project of UNDP which made a paradigm shift in spreading tourism to Indian villages which had core-competency in handicrafts, handloom and culture.

In his capacity as Secretary (Industries) Govt. of India, he drove the Ease of Doing Business initiative and ranking of States on outcome parameters. He is the Chairman of the Committee to implement Digital Payment in India.

He has been the recipient of Economic Time Policy Change Agent of the Year Award, the Bloomberg TV Personality of the year Award, the NDTV Administrator of the year Award and the Distinguished Fellowship of the Institute of Directors. He is the recipient of One Globe Award-2016 for leadership in Transforming Governance for the 21st Century. He is a Member of the Steering Board of “Shaping the Future of Production Systems” of World Economic Forum. He is also the recipient of Sir Edmund Hillary Fellowship awarded by the Prime Minister of New Zealand. He is also the recipient of Golden Peacock Award for leadership in Economic Transformation-2017.

Amitabh Kant has worked as CMD – ITDC, Joint Secretary – Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Secretary – Tourism, Government of Kerala, Managing Director, Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation, District Collector, Kozikhode and Managing Director, Matsyafed. During his tenure in Kerala he structured the Calicut Airport as a private sector project based on User’s Free and developed the BSES Power Project and Mattanchery Bridge under Private Public Partnership.

Amitabh Kant did his schooling from Modern School, Delhi, graduation in Economics (Hons) from St. Stephens, Delhi University and M.A from Jawaharlal Nehru University. He is a Chevening Scholar.

Deepak Garg is a thought leader in the field of new age logistics. Deepak founded RIVIGO in 2014 with a globally unique idea of relay driving to make logistics faster, safer and more human using technology and data. As a leader and innovator, Deepak is known for complex data-driven problem solving and issue resolution through technology. Deepak’s ability to hire a world class team and build high-performance culture has served as a growth catalyst and infused a sense of purpose at RIVIGO.

Prior to starting RIVIGO, Deepak worked with McKinsey & Co from 2006 to 2014. He has extensive experience in working with large clients on complex supply chain issues and has worked with clients across geographies in Asia, Australia and Africa.

He speaks regularly at global forums on data, technology, supply chain and leadership topics. Deepak has also recently won The Fortune India 40 under 40 and The Economic Times 40 under 40 awards. In his free time, he enjoys reading and travel and is passionate about new ideas and creating impact at scale.

Within just 4 years, RIVIGO has emerged as the largest and the fastest growing technology-enabled logistics company in India, owning a fleet of over 3000 trucks. It uses an innovative ‘driver relay’ model that enables trucks to cover 3 times more distance while making the life of truck driver more human. RIVIGO serves firms across all major industries in India with its full-truck load, part-truck (express cargo), cold chain logistics as well as digital freight aggregator services.

Deepak holds a Master’s in Business Administration from IIM – Lucknow (2006) and Bachelor’s in Technology from IIT – Kanpur (2003).



Managing Trustee, AMM Foundation

Subbiah is a third generation member and former Chairman of Murugappa Group. He retired in January 2004 after working for 43 years in the family business. He played an active role in transforming a number of group companies such as Carborundum Universal, T.I. Cycles, and EID Parry.

Currently, he is the Managing Trustee of their family foundation, A.M.M. Foundation. He is also the Trustee of Pallathur Nagarathar Trust and Meenakshi Charitable Trust.

In the past he was associated with the Association of Indian Engineering Industries (predecessor to CII), FBN (Family Business Network) International, Madras Crafts Foundation, WORTH Trust, and India Foundation for the Arts. He has also served as Chairman of the National Skill Development Corporation.

Subbiah is a recipient of many awards and accolades including the National HRD Award in 1988, the Distinguished Family Business Award for Murugappa family from IMD Lausanne in 2001, the JRD Tata Business Leadership Award in 2002, and honorary doctorate from Birmingham University (UK) in 2011. In 2012, he was conferred with the Padma Bhushan by the President of India.



CEO and Co-founder, iD Fresh Food

Born in a remote village in Kerala to a father who was a daily wager, Musthafa PC was a school dropout who later did his Engineering in Computer Science from NIT Calicut & MBA from IIM Bangalore.

During his childhood, breakfast was a luxury and three meals a day was a dream. He co-founded iD Fresh Food in 2006 with his cousins and currently employs 1500+ youngsters from rural India. Today his healthy idlis, dosas and other fresh, preservative-free products feed millions on a daily basis.

Inspired by traditional Indian values, iD Fresh Food promotes authentic Indian foods which are fresh, 100% natural and preservative-free. Today, iD Fresh Food is a Rs. 1000 crore brand.

PC is driving the passion of all the five co-founders in building a unique fresh food company. The company’s latest marvel product, iD Squeeze-and-Fry Vada Batter, has been applauded across the globe for its innovation and the video went viral.

PC has been lauded with many prestigious awards like the India Today Make in India award, JCI National Award, Vocational Excellence Award, Entrepreneur India Award, among others. He was invited to share his success story at Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan Business School this year. He is part of the Indian Philanthropy Initiative & also works very closely with DIAV for the welfare Army Martyrs’ next of kin. PC is also part of the Prime Minister’s “Champions of Change” team with a vision to build a new India by 2022. His idea for traffic system automation is part of the “New India Synopsis”.



Co-Founder, Atomberg Technologies

Sibabrata Das holds a B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering from one of the top technical institute of India, IIT Bombay. Even as a student he showed great aptitude for an entrepreneur in the making and had a number of laurels to his credit, including an E-commerce company which he co-founded with his batch mates during his final year at IIT Bombay. After successfully running this business for 2 years as a CEO, he exited the business to co-found Atomberg Technologies in collaboration with Manoj, another batch mate from IIT. Presently he oversees finance and overall strategy at Atomberg Technologies and is also responsible for scaling up the brand.

Recently he was awarded at the National Entrepreneurship Awards 2017 at New Delhi from the Hon’ble Finance Minister Mr. Arun Jaitley, which followed by being recognized among the young achievers by the prestigious FORBES magazine.
